The Healthcare Leadership Academy (HLA) formed in response to the increasing demand from young healthcare professionals and students to further their leadership skills. Their aim is to inspire the next generation of healthcare leaders by providing them further understanding of leadership. 

Their flagship Scholarship Programme aims to nurture, empower, and support their Scholars on their journey to becoming future leaders. The Scholars Programme is open to individuals at any stage of their training or education who have demonstrated leadership potential in their careers. 

The Programme offers both in-person and virtual options, to ensure accessibility regardless of location. Applications for the next Scholars Cohort are now open, with a rolling review process prioritising early submissions. 

The Healthcare Leadership Academy in partnership with United Hospitals will be hosting the HLA Open Day 2024 on the 23rd March 2024 at 10:00 am GMT, and we kindly invite you to join us on the day. We will explore the essence of the Scholarship Programme, why it could be the ideal fit for you and your leadership development, and meet current and previous Scholars from the HLA to hear about their experiences.
