Calling all students! We’re hosting a free online Ophthalmology course for medical students, organised by myself and a colleague, and supported by Queen’s University Belfast.

The course will take place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November. Speakers include a fantastic line-up of mostly NHS-based Ophthalmology Consultants, alongside a senior trainee and visual scientists.

There will also be opportunities for students to present posters or give short talks. When we’ve run this previously, the tone has been supportive, welcoming, and aimed at encouraging interest and confidence in Ophthalmology.

We would love to see students from across the UK sign up and take part. Although we hope to offer our speakers a small honorarium, the meeting is entirely non-commercial and no personal financial gain is being made by the organisers.
