Doctors’ Association UK is expanding its National Medical Student Committee for the 2025-2026 academic year. Previously, we’ve campaigned on key issues, including bottlenecks in specialty training, the right to protest, student funding and the NHS bursary, the implications of the workforce plan on student numbers, and recent changes to the UKFPO.

If you’re passionate about an issue affecting medical students, doctors, or patients, we want to hear from you. Submit 50-100 words outlining the issue and how with DA UK could help bring about change to contact@dauk.org, with the subject line “Medical Student Committee”.

The closing date for submissions is the 28th of July. We will email you two weeks after the submission with the outcome of your application.
