We’re super excited to remind you that Thursday 16th October 2025, is Restart a Heart Day! This is a day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of CPR and empowering more people to learn this life-saving skill. So many of you have planned events for this year, and we look forward to hearing about how it goes. Even if your event has already been planned, or has already happened, please still get in touch. Resuscitation Council UK are gathering feedback from nationwide events, and expanding the national student network with lots of exciting opportunities on the horizon. ☺️

For those of you who have been previously involved in the Restart a Heart project, you have helped make a significant impact within our community. Your contribution was invaluable, and as we are now within the National Restart a Heart Month of October, and with Restart a Heart Day fast approaching, we’d love to have you on board again this year! ❤️

Hosting Your Event:

If you’re interested in participating, simply reply to this email or complete the event proposal form (see link below) and we’ll do our best to support you with your event. Please come along to our Student Information Meeting (online, link below) on Wednesday 8th October 2025, where we will be delivering a short online presentation and answering any questions you might have about Restart a Heart.

✉️	Restart a Heart Branded Event Pack	The pack is available for free, with costs payable on postage and packing.
🩺	Restart a Heart Training Pack	Everything you need to know to arrange and facilitate sessions in your local communities or online to enable as many people of any age to receive CPR training.

For those of you running events, we will send out a post-event form so we can send certificates to you for trainers and volunteers as a record of their contribution – perfect for your portfolios.
