I am writing as a Trustee from Global Brigades UK to share an exciting opportunity for your medical/healthcare related students to take part in an upcoming student leadership internship in Greece.
Global Brigades is an international non-profit that offers volunteering programmes for students to fundraise and provide medical support to communities in countries such as Greece, Ghana and Honduras, and more. For more information on the work of Global Brigades, please visit our website.
The internship we are offering will run on 3-5th September 2025 and is a great opportunity for aspiring doctors and other healthcare-related students, where students will be able to:
- Collaborate with like-minded students from other universities and leaders in international development work.
- Learn about and contribute to sustainable impact in Global Brigades partner countries.
- Gain valuable leadership experience and training.
- Showcase their initiative by establishing their own Global Brigades Chapters.
The fundamental goal of this internship is to become a future GB Leader, as the intern will be expected to lead a brigade of students to one of our partner communities in the subsequent year. For this reason, we are not accepting applications from finalists or those on one year degrees.
