The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh President’s Forum in London

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is delighted to announce that we are hosting a President’s Forum in London on Wednesday 5 June 2024. The event will take place between 5.30 – 9pm, at Barber-Surgeons’ Hall.

It promises to be an exciting and informative evening, featuring a line-up of accomplished speakers who will discuss key issues of interest across both surgery and dentistry. Presentation topics that will be covered (to name a few!) include AI in Surgery, Mental Health and Burnout, and UK Dental Training and the RCSEd Faculty of Dental Surgery.

It also provides a fantastic opportunity to network and meet like-minded individuals. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with RCSEd President, Professor Rowan Parks; College Vice-President, Professor Tim Graham; Dean of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Professor Grant McIntyre; RCSEd Honorary Secretary, Professor Robin Paton; and Past President and Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners, Dame Clare Gerada.

Attendance to this event is free, and refreshments will be provided throughout the evening (food is also served prior to the forum beginning between approx. 5.30 – 6pm). Sessions will be followed by informal networking at which point guests are encouraged to share their views and discuss the topics covered in the forum with the RCSEd team, speakers, and colleagues in attendance.
