Cambridge University Students’ Clinical Research Society (CUSCRS)

One of our main goals is to address the knowledge gap in research teaching in Medical schools in the United Kingdom. We understand that medical research (or any form of academia) can be really daunting and challenging.

We have firstly established a regional teaching programme that covers the essentials of clinical research. It is a series of 6 workshops that focuses on the core tenets of research, from what to research to HOW to turn research ideas from conception to publication. In addition, we believe it is an excellent chance for networking among medical students. Finally, there are a myriad of research project opportunities available for those who complete the series!

As this is a regional teaching program, we are extending sign-ups to medical students all around the UK. We would be incredibly grateful if you could publicise this teaching programme to your medical students. Kindly find attached some infographics that provides information regarding the location and dates etc.

We would be more than happy to have a face-to-face call to address any queries you may have!

In addition, we would really appreciate it if you could help us publicise a survey to your medical students. This would greatly assist our understanding of which research fields/areas medical students are most interested in.
