In2MedSchool is a UK based charity aiming to improve access to medical school for students from widening participation backgrounds. The Ambassadors team specifically support our students with accessing relevant work experience opportunities, which are essential for a successful medical school application.
National Work Experience Coordinators will work as part of a team to identify suitable work experience host organisations within a specific domain (GPs, hospitals etc), and liaise with them to organise opportunities over school holidays.
This role offers the chance to support widening participation school students, whilst achieving leadership points on your future specialty applications. You will have the opportunity to participate in research projects related to this program. There is also scope to develop your own project in this role, which can be submitted for poster/ oral presentation at conferences or even publication.
