The International Undergraduate Surgical Conference (iNUGSC) is taking place on 24-25th February 2024. 

iNUGSC, now in its 14th year, brings together world-renowned surgeons from the UK and across the world to speak at a two day conference hosted in London. Last year, our conference attracted 500 medical students from across the country to participate in the largest undergraduate surgical conference in the UK.

Students from every medical school are invited to attend, either virtually or in person. Our aim this year is to ensure that all medical students have access to this opportunity to hear from experienced surgeons and gain an insight into the work of global leaders of surgery.

One of the key draws of the conference is the opportunity for students to practice their surgical skills in our many workshops. Last year we offered suturing, cardio + neuro virtual reality, brain mapping and vascular anastomoses workshops. Furthermore, we host a ‘battle of the specialties’ panel discussion which is always beneficial for students deciding which specialty they’d like to choose.
