We’re a group of junior doctors based at St Mary’s Hospital, running a ‘Preparing for FY1’ course (online, starting Thursday 25th May) to help final year medical student bridge the gap between university and work.

The series is constituting 6 teaching sessions, with the aim of covering everything from the logistics of on-call shifts, ways to communicate with other specialties and make referrals, and common medical and surgical encounters that new doctors will have to manage throughout their careers.

The sessions will run every Thursday at 7pm, starting on 25th May.
