Calling all student members, the Medical Journalists’ Association has added a student award to this years award ceremony on the 13th of September 2023. The MJA exists to promote excellence in health and medical journalism, and support our 400+ membership through networking, career development, training and social events. With a prize of £500 , aswell as an invite to the awards night, this is an amazing opportunity for student writers to gain recognition and network with some of health journalism’s top writers.
Work submitted will need to have been first published/broadcaston or between 1 May 2022 and 30 April 2023 and the deadline for entry is Wednesday May 31, 2023.
Entrants must be studying at a Higher Education institution in the UK (including PhD) or have been studying in such an institution at the time of the entered work’s first publication or broadcast. Individual entry only, no team entries, must be centred around health and medicine. (One piece of work may be submitted – any format).
