My name is Mr Hamid Tehrani, Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Whiston Hospital, Liverpool, and founder of ‘Surgery Skills’, an online training platform which specialises in teaching undergraduates and junior doctors the surgery skills required for their careers. I established Surgery Skills to improve access to surgical training, and with this aim, I’d like to offer a completely free training course to your society members.

Our Introduction to Surgery online course is perfect for medical students, giving them the basic knowledge, skills and etiquette to prepare for their surgical placements. It is badged by BAPRAS*, used by various medical schools and comes with CME points; at the end of the course students submit their work and receive individual feedback from me and a certificate of completion for their portfolio.
