Finals Surgical Teaching Series

We are the Alcock Society. A national anatomical society made up of anatomy demonstrators (past and present) based at King’s College London. We are current/prospective surgical trainees who are taking a year out of surgical training to deliver full time teaching to medical students on anatomy and surgical skills.

We would like to draw your attention to our very popular and successful FREE surgical lecture series we are running over zoom aimed at revisiting and revising the surgical topics that come up in medical finals. Our anatomy demonstrators consist of graduates from medical schools all across the UK and hence have a good idea of what comes up in finals. We have previously delivered these to King’s Student’s however due the popularity over the past few years we would like to open this up to every medical school in the country!

The lecture series is completely free and delivered all online. We only request that students sign up via the evenbrite link so that we have an idea of the numbers we are expecting. Previously this has been a very successful and busy teaching series and we are expecting a high turnout.
