25th Oct – Hip & Acutely Swollen Joint 

Join for our third teaching event from the ‘Intro to Orthopaedics’ series. We will be covering all the key conditions affecting these two joints, in addition to key examination tips for your PACES. Key topics include neck of femur fractures, septic joints and their differential diagnoses.

1st Nov – Knee & Ankle 

Join for our fourth teaching event from the ‘Intro to Orthopaedics’ series. We will be covering all the key conditions affecting these two joints, in addition to key examination tips for your PACES. Key topics include how to complete a thorough knee clinical examination, interpretation of findings and Ottowa ankle rules. 

8th Nov – Forearm and Wrist & Hand 

Join for our fifth teaching event from the ‘Intro to Orthopaedics’ series. We will be covering all the key conditions affecting these two joints, in addition to key examination tips for your PACES. Key topics include: Monteggia/Galeazzi fractures,  distal radius fractures and common hand pathologies. 

15th Nov – Spine & Orthopaedic Emergencies

Join for our sixth and final teaching event from the ‘Intro to Orthopaedics’ series. We will be covering all the key conditions affecting these two joints, in addition to key examination tips for your PACES. We will cover spinal anatomy, pelvic fractures, and emergency indications for theatre.
