National Teaching Series on Clinical Statistics

We invite you to the National Teaching Series aimed at introducing junior doctors and medical students to Clinical Statistics and using R programming language. 

This series will provide a comprehensive overview of essential epidemiological concepts used in interviews for academic (i.e., AFP/ACF) training programmes. You will gain an introduction via guided demonstration to data analysis with R, including resources to help you practice in your own time, and a certificate acknowledging your participation in this course for use in your e-Portfolio as evidence.

Session 2  [24 Aug 2022] – Setting up R and Exploring the R Studio Environment

Session 3 [22 Sep 2022] – Preparing for data analysis with R [Dr Keeran Vickneson, Academic FY2, Edinburgh]

Session 4 [Oct 2022, TBA] – Tackling Academic Interviews, Tips from leading academics

All sessions will be conducted on Teams for ease of accessibility.
