I hope this finds you well. I’m reaching out on behalf of the British Society for Heart Failure. Our mission is to drive up standards of heart failure care through well trained and resourced healthcare professionals to delay or prevent the onset of heart failure and improve patient outcomes.
We’re running a short free online cardiology teaching series for students interested in cardiology this October and November!
The sessions are designed to be practical, student-friendly, and directly relevant to exams and clinical placements:
· 7-8pm 15th October – Basic ECG Interpretation
· 7-8pm 22nd October – Paediatric Cardiology + Heart Failure
· 7-8pm 29th October – Heart Failure (Signs, Symptoms, Management)
· 7-8pm 5th November – Case Studies + OSCE Tips
Students who attend and complete the full series will receive a certificate of participation (which they can use in their portfolios and for CVs). All that’s required is BSH student membership – which is completely free.
Other membership benefits include:
· Discounted event and conference tickets
· Membership portal with exclusive resources
· Networking opportunities
· Mentorship scheme
· Latest news in the field of heart failure and cardiology
· Free training and education sessions
