The Gaza Educate Medics (GEM) Mentorship Program, run in collaboration with PalMed Academy, is designed to support medical students in Gaza in continuing their education amidst ongoing conflict.

The program is accredited by both Al Azhar University and the Islamic University of Gaza, and offers UK-based medical students the opportunity to volunteer as peer mentors. Mentors provide academic guidance, clinical teaching support, and signposting to study resources — all through a structured, one-to-one online mentorship.
