Hunterian Society Prizes and Scholarship
The Society funds a Prize of £500.00 for which an essay is submitted on a subject of relevance to John or William Hunter or medicine in the 18th century. The winner is invited to give a power point presentation of their topic before the the Fellows of the Society.
The Scholarship assists with fees towards the History of Medicine Diploma organised by the Worhsipful Society of Apothecaries which begins in September this year.

Royal College of Psychiatrists Prizes for Medical Students
Margaret Jackson Prize
The Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare of the RCOG will award a prize annually in memory of Dr Margaret Jackson, a distinguished pioneer in the field of Family Planning.
The prizes are of the value of £300 for the winner and £1`00 each for the two runners-up and will be awarded to three undergraduates who submit the most interesting and original essays on a topic related to contraceptive and sexual health care.
Essays should be submitted by post only (no electronic copies) to:
