Pain treatment during A&E encounters

Pain treatment during accident and emergency (A&E) encounters

Dr Anna Hood is a researcher at the University of Manchester, leading a team conducting a study to understand how medical and nursing students view pain treatment in accident and emergency (A&E) encounters. More than 30% of people in the UK experience chronic pain. This will help us understand whether changes need to be made and what mechanisms must be considered when developing interventions.

Who do we need?
Home status or international medical or nursing students who are currently enrolled in a programme in the UK. Participants also need to have internet access.

What’s involved?
In this short study, you will read a brief description of a person experiencing pain attending the accident and emergency (A&E) department. After the description, you will complete some short surveys (multiple choice questions) related to the description and provide information related to your daily experiences.
