Get Involved in Blood Pressure Research

My name is Lauren, I’m a medical student at the University of Manchester, and I am the lead for May Measure Month (MMM) in England. MMM is an international research project and public health initiative to get as many people’s blood pressures measured as possible. The data collected is published each year. If you wish to learn more, the link to our website is: https://maymeasure.org/  if you are interested in the results, an example publication is: https://academic.oup.com/eurheartj/article/40/25/2006/5481538

We are looking to recruit regional leads, this would involve coordinating venues and recruiting volunteers to take the blood pressures of members of the public. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop leadership skills, and to partake in international research which is a fantastic research building opportunity and something you may wish to cite if you are trying to coordinate further research projects. Regional leads would be included in the acknowledgements of papers published.
