Yuri and Agata here, 2 recent graduates from Cambridge and current academic foundation trainees in London (at Imperial!) with a special interest in medical eduation and research. We are organising an online, free-of-charge course called “Clinical Case Masterclass”, and we would love to invite you!
In a nutshell, the two of us and a consultant, tried-and-tested excellent teacher and expert in the field of the case will jointly present and discuss an interesting clinical case that has presented to the General Massachusetts Hospital. This will happen once or twice a month, be highly interactive and involve the audience throughout. Neither the consultant nor the audience know the diagnosis, but we will guide you through the most common and important differentials, a safe approach as junior doctor, to the more intriguing diagnoses and pathophysiology!
We will do a pilot case on Monday, 6th of September, together with consultant nephrologist Dr David Thomas at Hammersmith Hospital who has a special background in renal physiology and immunology. Could you kindly advertise this session through any society/students’ newsletters, Facebook groups, Whatsapp chats, and other channels? All levels are warmly welcome. We will aim it to be high-yield and fun, and the type of supplementary clinical/pathology teaching that we would have loved to have back as medical students throughout our clinical years.
Students can also follow us on instagram for the Zoom link and future episodes (https://www.instagram.com/clinicalcasemasterclass/) or find the event on Facebook, too: https://fb.me/e/vrj13fCK
