Teleconsultations Medical Student Workshop 🚀

🚨CALLING ALL DIGITAL HEALTH ENTHUSIASTS! 🚨

Hi guys! ⭐️

We’d love to invite you to participate in a workshop aiming to enhance knowledge and confidence of medical students in conducting teleconsultations. This is as part of our BSc Project on ‘The prospect for teleconsultations in community mental health services post COVID-19’, as students on the Intercalated Management BSc course at Imperial College Business School. 🚀

COVID-19 led to the incorporation of telemedicine on a scale never seen before, leaving many to question the extent to which this will be continued after the pandemic. Such methods of healthcare require adjustments and training of the healthcare professional to ensure minimal impact on the quality of care given to patients as well as detrimental effects on the doctor-patient relationship. 🩺

This 1hr workshop will be held on MS Teams on Monday 24th May at 6pm. 📆

If you are interested in participating, please drop us an email: keerthi.muthukumar17@imperial.ac.uk. Participation is entirely voluntary and you may drop out at any time. 💯

If you have any further questions regarding this study, please contact us or our supervisor Prof. James Barlow at j.barlow@imperial.ac.uk.
