A brief description of the event: Pathways to Medicine is a two year programme supporting aspiring medics from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education. As part of the programme participants are paired up with a current Imperial medical student for eMentoring. We have a number of Pathways participants who need to be matched up to an eMentor from January 2021 for ongoing support on a moderated online platform/app that you can access from anywhere (internet connection permitting). We are looking for Medical students who can commit to supporting 2-3 participants in the lead up to and during their university applications.
Dates and times: One year commitment from January – December 2021.

Training/requirements: Medical student, current DBS certificate, right to work in the UK*
*This opportunity is considered voluntary work (as opposed to volunteering) and thus you must have the right to work in order to be eligible. If you have a student visa that includes a limit on the number of hours you are able to work, please note that working this opportunity would impact on the number of hours of paid work you can do.
