There is still time to sign up to Play Team if you missed it this term! If you would like to Volunteer  in the Play Team,  watch out for the volunteer sign up!

Training day is going to be 31st Jan 2015

This year to ensure sessions are not cancelled due to lack of attendance we have a 3 strike policy, so if you miss 3 sessions we will assign another volunteer your spot as we have many people on waiting lists and it’s not fair to the kids! Please choose your availability carefully because we will not be able to swap people around.

We will give you a position on the Play Team as a first come first serve basis, so sign up now!

Just to clarify, you are only required to attend the sessions every 2 weeks.​

Dear all,

I hope this email finds you well. I’m contacting you on behalf of Professor Standfield (Head of London Postgraduate School of Surgery and Professor of Vascular Surgery) regarding a research project running at Hammersmith Hospital.
We are looking for 10-12 keen medical students who would like to get involved.
The project
We want to teach arterial Duplex ultrasonography to medical students on a simulator and show that this skill can be transferred to scanning a real patient with known peripheral Vascular disease.

UCLU inspiredmEDicine Conference 2015

The UCLU Medical Society InspireMEdicine Conference, proudly sponsored by Elsevier (, is a national, student-run event which will be held at University College London on Saturday 24th January 2015.


The conference is designed to celebrate all that medicine has to offer and aims to revitalise medical students at every stage in their course who may be feeling disillusioned by the long terms, hard work and countless exams which make up their degree. From the 24th to the 26th of November 2014, the Federation of Infection Societies (FIS) conference will be held at the Harrogate International Centre in Yorkshire.

The largest infection-related conference in the UK, this highly collaborative event brings together professionals and academics to discuss state of the art technology and approaches in infectious disease treatment.
