Imperial College Aid to the Balkans (ICAB)
|
ICAB (Imperial College Aid to the Balkans) sends out volunteers to work in orphanages and street kids’ centres in Bosnia and Bulgaria. Students go in groups of three or four for a minimum of two weeks during the summer months. Students choose when and where they want to go and to which centres. ICAB acts as a mediator for the trips putting volunteers in touch with the centres. The volunteers make a small but significant difference in the lives of children who have very little. It is also an opportunity to have a brilliant holiday with friends, whilst doing something a little bit different in less commercialised parts of the world. For more information on ICAB, how to apply and on other events organised by ICAB, please take a look at our website here. |
