Be Part of the MERU study

Claire Vassie, a Clinical Education Fellow at the Medical Education Research Unit (MERU), is carrying out research into what students really want from the personal tutoring system to look at ways we can improve and develop the current system.

We are seeking students who would be happy to partake in a one-to-one interview about their experience of the personal tutor system and their thoughts on its strengths and weaknesses. Each interview will last approximately 45 minutes up to a maximum of 1 hour. The interviews will be conducted at Charing Cross, St Mary’s, Chelsea and Westminster or South Kensington (whichever is most convenient) at a time convenient to you.

We will ask your permission to audio record the interview and both the audio recordings and transcripts of your interview will be confidential (Only I will have access to the recordings and only myself and my supervisor, Professor Sue Smith, will have access to the anonymised transcripts from the interviews). The recordings will be destroyed as soon as they are transcribed. Only anonymised data will be used in our final report.

As a thank you for taking part, we are offering a £20 Amazon voucher to compensate you for your time.
