Student BMJ are looking for medical students from each of the UK’s 33 medical schools to join our editorial committee. As a Student BMJ “rep” you will help tell your peers in all year groups about Student BMJ and provide ideas for topics you would like us to cover.

We are looking for one representative from each medical school to act as our main point of contact for that school. The role involves organising focus groups to give us feedback on the Student BMJ, promoting Student BMJ membership and competitions within your medical school and collaborating with other Student BMJ representatives from other schools. Our day to day communication will take place via a private Facebook group and there may also be the opportunity to visit the BMA House for annual committee meetings.

The position would grant that person free access to student.bmj.com, a profile on our website, input into Student BMJ content, fantastic networking opportunities and, of course, an invaluable certificate of participation.

To apply for the position of Student BMJ rep please write short paragraph outlining why you would be an excellent and proactive sBMJ rep and send it to: studenteditor@bmj.com Also, feel free to nominate any peers you think would be suitable for the role and encourage them to apply. Deadline for applications is May 31st 2017.
